Class presentations

I thought the presentations in class were really good. Tony’s was one of the more conceptual ones and I really enjoyed that it was outside of the obvious way of presenting someone. I also liked how not everybody chose to do the same story. Some were “a day in the life of” and others were travel stories, and others still were chronicles of events in a person’s life along the way. I was inspired by everyone’s project and can’t wait to see the rest.

  1. The very conceptual ones seem to push towards a sort of double-impressionist technique. First the subject gives what their impression of their environment, then the artist creates their own impression of what the subject said. While they represent the artist’s interpretation of their subjects, the subject always comes through with what they have decided to share with the artist (what they concider to be most important about their lives).
